CLICK-TO-DIAL
You don’t have to use your phone handset to place a call anymore. Instead, you can dial it with just a click from your Personal Account Manager. Most phone numbers listed in your Call Log or Personal Address Book are hyperlinked, so you can dial them just by clicking on them from your computer.
- Double-click on the red, hyperlinked telephone number or the name of the Contact that you would like to call through Click-to-Dial.
- A Caller ID pop-up window will appear.
- Choose Place a Call from the drop-down menu in that pop-up window.
- A second pop-up window will then appear requesting you to select a specific telephone number to call (if there is more than one telephone number for that Contact).
- Click on the telephone number you prefer.
- Click the Call button.
- Your VoiceWing phone will ring, once the call is placed.
- Pick up your VoiceWing handset and listen for an automatic confirmation message indicating that your Click-to-Dial call has been placed.
- Wait for the person on the other end to pick up.
- If the number you are attempting to dial is busy, another automated message will inform you that the number is busy or not available.
